Review on ๐Ÿงผ Emousport Wooden Soap Mold with Silicone Liner and Cover - DIY Soap Candle Mold Tool for 900/1200g Mold Making (900g) by Hannah Curi

Good for the money

I bought this mold to make soap samples so I don't really care but if you use it for regular bars you might not like the liner. The liner is very soft and the lid sits on the liner rather than the mold. *Very easy* to move the balaclava so that it curves inwards. The only thing I did with the soap in this photo was gently place a towel on top to help with the gel. I already knew that the liner could move easily (it happened twice already) so I was very careful placing the towel. As you can see in the picture, the liner moved anyway, leaving an odd gap on one side of the soap (the bottom side in this picture). For the money, this is a regular shape, especially if you only use it for rehearsals. . However, if you're trying to create more than just patterns, you might want to reconsider. It would be better if the liner was a little shorter so it doesn't sit on top of the wooden box.

Pros
  • Molds
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models
