A simple DIY repair that works great!
I didn't want a separate key for the door and ignition so I went with this kit. The product worked great! Following the instructions I installed new toggle switches and springs that came with the kit. Lubricated, and it turned out to be a perfect fit. My application does not require any retraining process to work. it was as simple as inserting toggle switches and inserting a cylinder into the housing on the steering column. I no longer have to worry about whether my key is turning or not. No more moving and tapping the steering column to start my pickup.
