First review 6x9" Perfect 5 stars! Super efficient and cheap! I'm so happy with it. To be honest 6x9 is what it is. JL audio systems (the fast explode ) and those Kenwoods don't matter. With JL A it would be wise to accept an extended warranty. You can run this KENWOOD 6966S all day long that you turn it off voluntarily. Nothing beats a self-regulating overload protection! They can take incredible abuse. This is my 6th pair, one in each door of my 2014 Patriot and a KSC-11 subwoofer I am running them with this new amplified pair of Pioneer MvH-Media MvH6120BS head units, Are you using 2 of the 4 available outputs of a 150 watt infinity amp i.e. 30-40 watts each? Ideal speakers if you can't or don't want to afford an amplifier. If you eventually decide to up the wattage, you'll likely be able to handle a slight surge with ease. Even my 6x9 THUMP Infinite amp hit me hard. Put some Chris Breezy and Gunna (Heat) on, they play all three octaves 100Hz, 80Hz, 40Hz. amazing. I have changed my rating again. It's not 6.5 inches sucks. These are my settings. Loudness LR + RR = 0, cutoff 125Hz, timing +20! Nothing compares to the versatility and power of the 6x9. These KFC1665S are needed in addition to my tuning performance. ; These tiny magnets can power at least 40 watts! Great speakers but not suitable for my system. Excellent price.
