loud with tons of bass

It's really crazy how loud these speakers can be without noticeable distortion. they make my ears ring. In a previous car I had Alpine 6x9s hooked up to a 1100w amp and for some reason they weren't that loud even though I use them with a 1000w amp. much more bass than alpine, which cost three times as much. Maybe because I put them in trendy 6x9 boxes and the Alps were only at the back. but definitely excellent, they reproduce the sound perfectly

Fits Miata with JENSEN MPR210 7 Character LCD Single Din Car Stereo

I paired them with JENSEN MPR210 7 Character LCD Single Din Car Stereo in my 1990 Mazda Miata. respectable. I don't have much experience with car radios, but they are relatively easy to use. I couldn't get the speaker screens to work with my machine so I just haven't used them and so far they've been fine. I would say they are worth the price, I'm certainly glad I have them. My entire stereo setup is under $100 and I think it sounds pretty good. Sure, I don't even have a roof, but they get loud

Insanely beautiful sound!

I bought these a few months ago to replace one of the 6x9's that blew up in my living room. I play a massive amount of music and I like to tune in and just blast my music and it sounds beautiful on every level. Even my neighbor across the street remarked on how good my system sounds. I also listen to a lot of podcasts about her and it feels like Joe Rogan is in the room with me on how good her clarity is. Kenny G sounds fantastic on all of these Kenwoods. They are amazing. The only way I can…

Good Kenwood speakers

They work great in my 2001 Buick Century, my old radio had a bad fade knob so I never tested the rear speakers to see if they work that far, as if sitting in the back listening listening then I replaced the head unit AND checked my channels to make sure all four speakers were on the correct channels when I realized both rear speakers were completely off. As my new head unit is Kenwood I wanted to stay Kenwood throughout the setup Front Two will be up next and yes they will be Kenwood too…

Excellent speakers without amplifier

I got these because they want 30 RMS each which is perfect because I don't want to amplify them. I took a 6x9 in the front and a 6.5 in the back and popped them into my tundra with an aftermarket head unit (Atoto S8 Pro) which makes 29 X4 RMS. They sound loud with no distortion from just the standard head unit. It was good then I added a 10 inch subwoofer and everything was great. Very happy with the purchase. I wanted to deduct a star because they didn't sound as good as my last car with…

the best $35 speakers you will ever buy

I'm not the type to write reviews but I think I should because there are so many reviews that these speakers have low ratings give up because they say they don't have bass. First, you don't buy 6x9 for bass, you need an amp and a subwoofer for that. But for people who say they don't have bass, you're better off either getting your hearing checked, changing the song, buying a new radio, or fixing the wires that messed you up. Because for $35 you won't find a better sounding speaker. crisp highs,

Error in packaging - disappointing purchase

Don't waste your time or money on this. Right out of the box, one didn't play at all and the other barely played at all and just made a tinny sound with almost no music to be heard. I found this bad by testing the original stereo system with other known working speakers that reproduced the sound correctly. The box they came in looked like they had already been opened so who knows they might have been used before and returned. In any case, I know these are just inexpensive entry-level speakers…

Why risk your sound?

First review 6x9" Perfect 5 stars! Super efficient and cheap! I'm so happy with it. To be honest 6x9 is what it is. JL audio systems (the fast explode ) and those Kenwoods don't matter. With JL A it would be wise to accept an extended warranty. You can run this KENWOOD 6966S all day long that you turn it off voluntarily. Nothing beats a self-regulating overload protection! They can take incredible abuse. This is my 6th pair, one in each door of my 2014 Patriot and a KSC-11 subwoofer I am…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No instructions

To be clear I'm not a music lover so I'm not an expert on overall sound quality. But I do know when the speakers are dead and the readout panel speakers have been fried in my trusty 2006 Honda Accord. First, because the car was stock due to its age and because it had spent most of its life outdoors in the Texas sun, the original speakers sounded like someone stuffed a pillow inside. So, based on the reviews and claiming they fit my car, I bought them. They were well packaged and after I found…
