Review on AccuQuilt GO! 5-inch Square Fabric 🧡 Cutting Dies: The Ultimate Precision for Effortless Quilting by Heather Shaw

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cuts nice and clean

Update: I use this color quite a bit now. It cuts through cotton, denim, polyester batting and polyester fleece. I just hate hand cutting polyester batting and Go-Baby does it just fine. A slight color change doesn't seem to make a difference on the project I'm working on. I actually really like this product. The 5 inch dye is the widest the Go-Baby can accommodate, but I can cut larger pieces with the rotary cutter. The Go-Baby is much smaller than the Go-Daddy and costs MUCH less. I'll have to try Value Die again, which my initial experience with was far from outstanding. I'm taking Go-Baby to my quilting group at church. You will be amazed, I know. I just received this crystal (5") and tested it on my Go-Baby. It cuts nice and clean which is great, but when I measure squares they are 1/16-1/8" shorter on a side . The squares you cut out should be "perfect". You are not. Also, the Value Die, which cuts three sizes at once, leaves a few spots where it won't cut and I have to manage with scissors, which is inconvenient and wastes my time. This product is a very good idea, but unfortunately not a very good execution. I'm glad I didn't spend money on the full version. The cutter and dies, even with these flaws, can more or less be worth the money. I do not know yet.
