Below are the step-by-step instructions that helped me (00 Lexus ES300). Definitely worth the money and the case should last at least a year. It's not OEM quality, but for $7 there's nothing to complain about. 1) Insert the metal key into the plastic sleeve on the back of the sleeve as shown. Make sure the screw holes line up and the base of the metal piece is not protruding from the bushing. In the picture I had to press the metal part a little more into the sleeve. 2) Insert the battery/chip into the top (top) side of the case, you should hear a click. You may need to file down the plastic cutouts in the top half of the case to reveal the buttons on your chip. I didn't have to do this. 3) Insert the socket into the top half of the case with the side with the two dots next to the screw hole facing down. (See photo.) 4) Snap the bottom of the case onto the rest of the assembly. I held the front down and pressed the back firmly.
