Great for interior accessories

It's actually very simple and easy to do, although you may need a bit of work to position the key correctly to be able to close the plastic case.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Best solution!: Anti-theft

I was glad to find this case. My key box broke and everyone wanted a fortune to replace it. I was glad to find this spot. For a fraction of the cost. I could do it myself, it was so easy. This is the best solution.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • I will add later

Works great with keyless entry systems

His key is broken. It worked great. All I had to do was remove the screw from the broken key and put the key in the little black plastic tab and then put everything back together. It took a few tries to equalize both sides, but I got my way in the end. anyone could do it.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Inexpensive solution to a complex problem

I should have ordered this a long time ago when the original Lexus body cracked. I had to file a small hole for the "lock" knob to fit properly. But once I did that, everything clicked perfectly and works flawlessly. (Used to replace keys on 2004 Lexus)

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • So-so

Instructions - Decent Fit

Below are the step-by-step instructions that helped me (00 Lexus ES300). Definitely worth the money and the case should last at least a year. It's not OEM quality, but for $7 there's nothing to complain about. 1) Insert the metal key into the plastic sleeve on the back of the sleeve as shown. Make sure the screw holes line up and the base of the metal piece is not protruding from the bushing. In the picture I had to press the metal part a little more into the sleeve. 2) Insert the battery/chip…
