I have been making popcorn in the microwave for many years and have always bought popcorn in bulk but was never satisfied with popcorn until I got this one but now it's my absolute favorite. Very easy to clean and ejects almost all cores every time. In my opinion this size is actually one serving and if two people want to share then go for the larger size, but my girlfriend and I prefer the smaller portions anyway as weight is a concern for us. Sometimes I put coconut oil in the measuring cup on the lid, sometimes I use fragrance oil, but you can also use oil-free air flakes. A little butter or vegetable oil goes a long way and helps the salt stick. The cup you see in the lid is a measuring cup so you use the right amount of popcorn and then when you pop the popcorn in the popcorn you can put butter or coconut oil (in solid form) in the cup and just put it there , and it will drip into the popper as it melts. After the popping is done, you can either eat it out of the popper or pour it into a bowl.
