I use it for other purposes. I use it to clean the bottom and sides of a 2½ foot (600 gallon) pool. For quick and easy cleaning without having to take out all the vacuum equipment, plug it in and vacuum slowly. It only takes me about 10 minutes to use. If I have algae on the bottom of the pool, I do a smear, gently lift the squeegee along the inside wall of the pool, pull it out of the water, then rinse with a garden hose and then continue scrubbing until the pool is clean. . Takes about 10 minutes. Vacuuming would take me so long to set up the vacuum cleaner. The handle is a little flimsy for my use (pool cleaning) but the way I use it creates extra pressure that isn't intended so I can imagine that. work well for the intended purpose.
