I bought a TIDAL MQA audio product and it works great! I have an iMac (27 inch, 2017, High Sierra OS) and Focal Clear headphones. However, unlike Audioquest etc, the Pro-Ject website gives almost no configuration information (and you can't email it), so the following should help. After a few tries, I found out that the USB port on the S2 Digital is for a USB 2.0 B cable. USB 3.0 does not work. What worked was the USB 2.0 AB cable. Go to TIDAL settings. Then stream. Of course, select "Master" and select Pre Box S2 under "Sound". Then click on "Advanced Settings”. You then have three options: Use Exclusive Mode, Force Volume and Pass Through MQA. Be sure to tick all three boxes. When I did all this, the MQA icon appeared on the display with a blue dot! Sounds and works great so far. This is a great product at a great price (even if you don't need an MQA).
