I almost threw this thing away when I first tried it because it had a chemical aftertaste. So I decided to follow the advice of some reviewers to "air it out". I took a knife and a hammer, broke it up into smaller pieces and let it air out for a couple of days. The longer it is aired, the tastier. Oh my gosh this is super addicting after airing. Earthy taste, like summer rain on terracotta clay. It is so good! I would have liked more firmness. I just ordered more. Good to know I'm not the only picatarist here.
