I love, love, love these cubes! I have a toddler who is 19 months old and very busy. His favorite things to do are wreak havoc and destroy things. These blocks are perfect! He must build a tower and then destroy it. He will try to stand on her and laugh, falling in a heap. He keeps coming back to the blocks too - will play for half an hour several times a day! He gets bored with most toys after a few days, but these have caught his attention for a few weeks. They're big enough but light enough to carry around, and they use a lot of electricity. So far the quality seems solid and I like the bright colors. If you have a crazy busy toddler who loves building blocks I would highly recommend this set.
