. I was wondering why the radio goes into a weird lock mode where you can no longer use it. I had to turn the radio off and on again. Even a slight movement of the plug (which is inserted into the radio) can render the radio unusable. I noticed that the plug was not fully inserted into the wireless headphone jack. The problem is that there was too much rubber around the fork, which did not allow a good "plant”. I used an Xacto knife and cut off the rubber to give the fork a snug fit. No more weird radio blocking. I've also had to do this with other Motorola headsets that came with my Motorola radios.
