We love the look. We didn't expect that in the last few years. We don't like that it keeps beeping even when you open the door. It took us a minute to figure out the dial's function, but that's fine. It takes twice as long to make a bag of popcorn as our old one - 4 minutes 30 seconds. If you disable it when there are more than 2 seconds between popups, you will end up with a lot of unextracted cores. So I let it run the full 4:30. This is just before it turns one of them black, potentially leaving 10 unopened cores. Butter melts very well. It takes 5 minutes to heat a bowl of something thick like pasta or stew. Stir halfway through, otherwise the edges will be overcooked and the center will still be cold. All in all it does what it's supposed to do but I won't buy another one if it dies.
