Review on 🥊 Fairtex BGV9 Muay Thai Boxing Gloves - Heavy Hitter Mexican Style - 10 12 14 16 oz - Ideal for Training, Sparring, Kickboxing, MMA, K1 by Erick Bowers

I just received this glove and will update my review in about a month. I have to say that the delivery and packaging was first class. I ordered it on Friday (July 29th) and it was supposed to be delivered a week after I ordered it (August 8th), but I received it on Monday (July 31st). I definitely wasn't expecting a quick turnaround and was in excellent condition upon arrival. It was tightly packaged and wrapped in layers of bubble wrap over the original packaging, that's their praise as it shows they care about the product being delivered in good shape. Now for the glove: I love how compact it is (I have 16 ounces) and the design (red with white border) was nice. Made from pure leather and smells like fresh leather the first time you use it. I received compliments from my sporting mates on the new glove. The quality is absolutely amazing. The padding is dense and a bit heavy at the top (this is notorious for Mexican-style boxing gloves). It has a handle bar so you can clench your fist properly when punching. They are definitely made for pure boxing and not muay thai as the padding is not enough to absorb the impact. The velcro is great and the wrist support is good but not too stiff. But why only 4 stars? Well, it has yet to be properly broken in, although it's not as stiff as most people would say it is for first use. Despite its compactness, it is spacious inside. I hope as I use it more often it will eventually take the shape of my hand and conform to my fists. Also, it didn't have that much cotton when I used it for bags (hadn't made pads with it yet), so that was a bit sad. All in all this is a really good glove. Amazing quality. Ideal for sparring (enough protection for you and your partner). Hopefully the bag and pads will get better with more use. I could definitely imagine using it for a longer period of time. Highly recommended and fireworks for the price.
