Review on Walkie-talkie Baofeng UV-82 (2 power modes) by Jnis Gailis ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend it.

It is wellcomordinated, ofcomurse, there is no water or dust protection at all, everyone who indicates this apparently either does not understand what it is, or sells these stations. All the same RDA chip, but in a more anatomicallycomnvenient package. Good enough for your money. I think it makes no sense to demand something more from the directcomnversion receiver. The good news is that every year Chinese VHF sluts are falling in price more and more. Although sometimes to the detriment of thecommponents that are in them :-) I wrote more about this transceiver in my LiveJournal here

Pros
  • Build quality price. For some, plus a double PTT rocker. Not a plus for me personally.
Cons
  • As usual, overestimated battery readings on the battery itself, in reality, about 1700-1800mAh. "Empty" PSU and memory, but somehow miraculously working nonetheless. That's how long the question is. Missing frequency/channel switch button
