Nice screen, nice hardware, great touch functionality (Windows 7)

We have a lot of these monitors at work. We use touch screens for interactive kiosks all the time. The touch capabilities of these monitors are among the best we've seen. Very sensitive. Works out of the box with Windows 7 with no need to install drivers or software. We didn't do any calibration or anything like that and didn't find any issues with the accuracy of the default settings. -Day. This one is fast, reactive, and requires little to no touch. The only issue I had is that when you click and hold, the mouse pointer doesn't move to where you hold it until you release it. This is normal with any use of Windows, but has caused some issues with our interactive software that relies on hold for functionality. However, once you start dragging, it works properly right away. So I think this problem is a special case for our particular software. The screen quality is good and bright, accurate colors, deep blacks. There is a slight dimming when viewed from the side, but nothing unusual for an LCD panel. Bezel, bezel and mount are great for our applications. Because it uses feet on the underside of the front panel and a triangular back brace, it is very stable at any angle, including when tilted up for standing use. This makes it a great choice for kiosks, desktops, kitchens, etc. I can't speak to water or dust resistance though. :) Overall a great big screen with a very nice feel at a very reasonable price.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Bad input lag
