Review on Nonstick Bottom Accessories Induction Cooktop by Mike Swanson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good multi-tool for kitchen and dining room

Overview of non-stick pans and frying pans with lids, 5 liter pan with non-stick lid, flat-bottomed frying pan, non-stick wok set, wok accessories, Roast baskets and steamer, wok with induction hob, sold by Wojipeegi. Overall a good multi tool although I don't plan on using it as a deep fryer. I'm used to steaming and stewing. My interest was in having a wok pan with higher and flared sides to reduce oil spills outside the pan. The steamer is very easy to use, but steaming mushrooms for freezing has worked for me. It doesn't have a special handle, so you have to be creative when removing the contents, not to push so far that the contents spill into the water. I have found that the fry basket handle can be used to lift by inserting the pins into the center hole of the steamer, but it must be lifted straight up and be careful not to tip it to avoid spills. The first use was for cooking. The omelet is just for surface control, but I always use a little butter or even oil to be sure (equivalent to a few drops). The center of the pan is slightly raised above the level of the edges. The increase is small enough to thin the center of the two-egg omelette a bit and not turn it into a donut. I've also used this to sauté some veggies (not quite sauté) and it's reduced the splattering significantly. The lid is nice, fits well and has ventilation. It says it's dishwasher safe, but the size and shape doesn't help. I read somewhere that glass lids can't be washed in the dishwasher, although I know a lot of people do without a problem. The pan is easy to clean, so I would rather hand wash it. The pan is probably oven safe at normal oven temperatures, but I haven't seen anything listed about that, and the wok's geometry doesn't make using the oven very practical. I'm happy with that.
