Review on Black TuffRider Baroque πŸ‘’ Field Boots - Enhanced SEO by Brandon Gaines

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expect them to be "finished " by a good shoemaker. Poor workmanship out of the box

Calf fit wasn't a big issue for me, I have normal calves. (6 ft 1 in, 250 lb, male). The boots are very soft and look great. After squeezing them together and wearing them around the house for half an hour (as you would expect from a good fit) I was able to close them. The second and third time I got tired of putting them on and they fit perfectly. I (so happy with my new boots!) went straight to the shed to hit them up. I wasn't even riding, just longing for my horse 30 minutes in the wild in a round paddock and then I felt something tremble around my left boot. Filled with sand. I was crushed. AND RUSSELL! I took them to a big shoemaker here in Chicago and he said he was so confused. With such a well-made upper, it has such a crappy construction. These are riding boots, not standing boots. My cobbler was able to fix them and glue them together. Let's see how they hold up. Expect some after-sales work to be done on them, adding $30-$50 to the original cost. Otherwise they appear to be good boots but I'm definitely suspicious of them and will keep a close eye on them.
