Review on 🔨 Enhance Fine Motor Skills with Joyshare Pounding Bench Wooden Toy for Kids: Mallet Hammering, Block Punching, and Drop Instruments! by Will Randles

This is a cute toy with bright colors and solid construction and my 1 year old grandson enjoys playing with it. However, I have two problems with it. First a small note - the colors of the pens need to be a little clearer in order to be used for color teaching. Instead, there are two pens of different shades of pink instead of green. Turquoise is, but not green. (My daughter, my mother, remarks that children should eventually learn that all colors are different shades, but I think a one-year-old is too young for that.) Second, the pins are inserted into the holes fairly loosely. that they can be pushed with a toddler's index finger. The pins don't need to be hammered in at all, they actually fall out and lie scattered around the room. Sure, there's some fine motor exercise, especially putting the pins back in their holes, but what I wanted to buy was a hammer toy, not a finger press toy.
