Ok if you don't like eyebrows (like my first photo) but are obsessed with eyebrows like me, this review will be a complete monty of everything you need to know about this product. so buckle up I promise it's worth reading. I turned 38 on July 21st. In high school and college (late '90s to early '00s), super-thin brows were all the rage. So I pulled more hair out of my eyebrows last night than Aunt Ruth pulled out of her beard. (Veggie Tales fans know who I'm talking about.) When bushy brows came back into fashion, I became obsessed, but my brows were exhausted from all the plucking and they were raging. I have plucked my eyebrows exactly zero times in over a decade and you can see my current situation in my previous photo. I spent 20-30 minutes every day drawing my eyebrows for over a decade. (This is an important point later.) I would love microblading, but it's just not in my budget. I've bought every eyebrow product with the word "tattoo" in it and they've all been dirty, lazy liars. Then I found this product. I like it mostly but don't be stupid if you use it.1. FOLLOW CRAZY DIRECTIONS. Why people who have never had henna before (I have, I know, I'm not reacting) would apply this product directly to THEIR FACE without having it tested elsewhere (again, as the instructions say) is beyond me. 2. I strongly recommend using a color that matches your SKIN TONE (not your hair tone). I think that's why some people say it's too red.3. To be successful with this product you need to draw your eyebrows VERY WELL. I like to think so, because I have over ten years of experience with it. It will discolor your skin, so an uneven or poorly applied product (10 points for alliteration!) will produce horrible results that you'll be proud and probably embarrassed to wear on your face for at least a few days. I have applied this product (eyebrows and "freckles") 4 times so far and have at least 1-2 more applications FROM THE FIRST OF 3 powder packs. That means I can get 15-18 apps per unit sold. It is very good! 5. The thinner you mix it (more water), the lighter it will color your skin. The thicker you mix, the darker the stain will be. I prefer a darker color because I'm trying to draw all the eyebrows and not just paint over the rare ones. 6. I have fairly oily skin so this product doesn't last long on me. I reapply about every 3 days. Final thoughts: I really love this product. I just wish it would last longer and darken my skin. That being said, every day it took me so long to get my eyebrows done was to line and line everything. With this product, that part is done! I just paint over them a bit when I do my makeup, don't paint over them every morning! My makeup used to take me 45 minutes most days (no eye makeup except mascara) and now it takes 10-15 minutes.
