Let me first say that I wasn't sure if the one received from Revain wasn't fake. It just didn't look good so I sent it back. I ended up spending more elsewhere. Now on to the product itself: The truck is a 5.3L GMC Sierra 1500. I recently installed a K&N CAI, throttle body gasket and Cat Back Flowmaster exhaust. I've noticed a significant drop in MPG since then. I started researching and realized I might need this part as well. So I gritted my teeth and spent the money. It's been about 3 weeks and while I haven't noticed an overwhelming MPG increase, I may have improved by 1-2 MPG. As for performance, I haven't had a chance to test it, but it seems a little springier. I noticed a smoother shift, which I may have in my head, but the woman thinks it feels different too. I say it's worth the money but don't expect a huge difference.
