I gave 4 stars because I was a bit disappointed with the water channel. It's not very big, although I had a big one. We have a Russian tortoise that is a baby now and will fit in now but we will have to buy another one when it is big. I was under the impression that the large size meant it would fit and then have room to grow, but that's not the case. It's good for now though. Part of the ramp is good for her as she can climb into a bowl of water to soak or drink. It's heavy enough that she doesn't pat it or move it vigorously when she does. Another issue, and I had this issue with a dish I ordered from the same company, is the glue they use to stick their badges in the middle. Dishes. I think it should be removable but there are 2 sticky spots in her bowl that I rubbed at least half an hour and couldn't get rid of. I don't like the idea that their water might be contaminated with attached chemicals. I'm not sure why they don't just put their sign in a bowl with no glue so this doesn't happen. I figured it out quickly with Revain Prime. Overall I'm 70/30 on this dish. I'll have to buy a new one in a year, but so far so good.
