Update: this did go through the dryer and did shrink some. It's a little tight on my broad shoulders and the arms now but the sleeve-length and bust are still ample. If I reorder I will get a large or even do 'cause I like roomy with ease of care. But if you hand wash and air dry it should stay true to size.I love, love this sweater!Fabric: It's fine-gauge knit which means it works well for a more formal occasion. The cotton in it is a little more comfortable and breathable than pure acrylic, but I expect the polyester in it will keep its shape better than pure cotton and it should wash better too.Washing: I am not into hand washing, so everything goes into the washer and then ends up in the dryer half the time by mistake. I haven't washed this yet, but expect it to do fine. The instructions say cold wash, air dry.Shape: this can be worn pulled down straight or Audrey Hepburn style on the hips. I feel it's more flattering on the hips. The v-neck widens the shoulders.Size: I wear a small to medium. This medium fit me slightly loosely which us what I was shooting for but I could have gone up a size too.Color: The cobalt blue is a vibrant Spring color. (Good for young Warm or Cool skin tones.) I ordered the pink in their crewneck and found that color vibrant and clear, too. I wouldn't mind ordering another color!Quality: I found one knubby pull in it, but that's tolerable to me.
