I use this as a dietary supplement. Eating a regular or large lunch can make me sleepy, so using it as a meal replacement works great for weight management and provides enough nutrients for a lunch replacement without the sleepy hangover of a big meal. An added benefit is weight control without sacrificing proper nutrition. I consider it a safe product as long as it's not used more than once a day and only one meal, like lunch or possibly breakfast. I no longer feel tired after dinner when using it as a meal replacement. It is very important to eat a balanced diet, that is, to eat breakfast and dinner regularly. It's reasonable to think of this as a meal replacement and nothing more for health and nutritional reasons.
