This is a very pretty and sturdy stand, but it's a bit small for a regular or large laptop. I bought it for a 15.6" laptop and it was too small. When the laptop was opened on the stand it wanted to lean away from the stand because the stand wasn't long enough. This would be great for fairly small laptops or Tablets, but definitely not your mid-range notebook, because apart from the size, it's very solid and well-made, but the minimum angle is also quite large.
