Pros: Hinged lid stays in place when refilling with cereal, pet food, etc. Pros: Fits in a family cereal box when pouring cereal directly into the container. Advantages: the lid is fixed inside the container and there is no annoying gap in the hole for the remaining grain dust. Positive: Lid looks sealed so far. Pros: Label is easy to remove. No need for Goo Gone. Cons: The opening is large for the size of the container. I compared the hole in the larger cereal container and the hole was smaller to match its size. However, I haven't had any failures yet. Cons: Containers and lids are cheaply made. It's not Rubbermaid. The quality is comparable to what you can find in a cheap store. Cons: I had to peel small pieces of plastic from the edges of the cover. A little sloppily made but the chips fell off. Note: I would have liked a more secure lid, but it hasn't fallen off yet. Time will tell if it holds up. As long as it serves and fulfills its purpose.
