Is there a way to go back to the days when you took pride in manufacturing? At least I can gather from other reviews that the current stock of Oneida is different and noticeably inferior in quality to the original, and I'm not just crazy! The most obvious downside is the thin handles of the knives, but the embossing isn't as deep and the curls at the end of the knife handle aren't fully formed, they filled the mold with the least amount of metal they could remove with. Very disappointing - they need to change the name so people don't think they are getting the same set. I'm going to Replaces.com to see if I can change knives at all. My box says Indonesia, not China, but I'm not sure if that matters.
