Anker Stand has been in use for over a year and I have to say the Revain Basics (AB) is more intuitive in design. First, it uses less material, which I think is more environmentally friendly. A large integer/gap doesn't affect functionality at all. Both use the same button on the side of the cylinder to activate the movement mechanism. You use two hands to adjust both (unless you have very long fingers), but I find the AB easier to set up when you have to push from the front rather than pull the lever from the back. For AB you can also pull up and use the small hole as a lever with your finger. AB has a small hole on the back of the stand which is ideal for keeping the charging cable in place for easy charging while using/watching your smartphone or tablet. Please note that the large hole will be covered by your smart device, so the wire must form a loop. I say AB has a better design where the small hole prevents the wire from slipping off the table due to gravity, accidental movement on a flat surface or accidentally hitting the wire. the two parts are rectangular, not oval. I love how the AB makes a very nice clicking sound when set at certain angles. The anchor stand is half an inch longer. Great if you like looking from a very low angle. For a normal angle, both can go very well together. product placement. The anchor is clearly hidden during use. AB, clearly visible to viewers from behind. AB is slightly easier. You won't notice the difference unless you hold them side by side. Suitable for most 7/16 inch phones and tablets. If you remove the plastic protector, expand it to 1/2 inch, but the device hovers a little over the stand. If you want to use it for a Nintendo Switch, for example, it will fit on this stand, but without the protection. You can equip a guard, but it will be very floating. Without the plastic cover, the system will not be scratched if you turn it on and off gently. For Nintendo Switch, I recommend the stand included in the Nintendo Wii U Wii U GamePad Stand Cradle Set as it fits perfectly, but please note that it cannot be folded. Overall, both work very well as stands. If you plan on charging your phone while using the stand frequently, Revain Basics is your best bet.
