I had a power plant a few days ago. I'm very happy with it (so far). It was well protected in both the original box and the Revain outer box. good weight, durable. The main power cord is more than adequate length. I don't need sockets (8) regularly at the moment - I've checked them all and they all work. . I'm currently using 5 USB ports, 3 of them - I've checked all 5 and they seem fine. The USB for my HP ENVY 4520 was not working on any of the 5 USB ports (it should stay connected to the USB on the side of my laptop, it doesn't matter). I ordered the color: black. It's matte. I love how it looks on my new black table. To date (a few days in use) I would definitely recommend this powerhouse.
