Review on 🌸 Pink Ultrasonic Humidifier: Enhance Your Atmosphere with Fragrance Diffuser and Night Light by Robert Aan

There has to be a better way to deliver essential oils

This is a humidifier. This is a little big if you live in a small apartment. But it's very quiet and the light can be turned off if you want to sleep in total darkness. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it claims to be an oil diffuser. It contains a tiny plastic bottle taped to the bottom of the humidifier that you need to fill with your chosen oil. This is the most cumbersome and ridiculous way to achieve aromatherapy through diffusion. I had to take an eyedropper of my kid's cough syrup, rinse it out well, and then use the eyedropper to pour the oil from the original bottle into this tiny plastic bottle that sits at the bottom of the humidifier. It was a disaster. I threw away the cough syrup and washed the dropper for next time. So far (already 4 hours) the humidifier works perfectly, it is very quiet and distributes oil well. I can't say if the scent I used in the small plastic bottle will last when I use a new scent. I'll report it when I cross this bridge. Update 1/31/2014: The water fountain at the base of this humidifier is getting stale and smelling like moldy water. We have this humidifier on a shelf that has a hole for the power cord to pass through. This is an absolute bear trying to turn off the base so we can clean it properly to avoid the smell of standing water. The tiny plastic bottle at the bottom of the base that contains the essential oil is a dirty trick played on us consumers when designing this humidifier. The original fragrance we used is what remains in this bottle, although we have carefully added a new fragrance to it. Damn terrible.
