The case is made of cheap plastic, through which light shines, like a toy at the supermarket checkout. The switch has no real sense of being on, so a sneeze can turn it off while it's running. Even the connector looks whimsical. I wouldn't risk plugging it into an outlet. If you're thinking of connecting your laptop or computer to it, you must be crazy. I can't believe this thing was UL approved.
