I might have skipped these Hausbell lights in favor of another brand if I hadn't first had a pair of 7w Hausbell AA lights which lasted a few years. I wanted to up my flashlight game even further and this 4 piece set suited me well for both the price and the quality I could expect. The point of the purchase was to have fairly good but somewhat inexpensive (read disposable) LED flashlights wherever I might need them. I want these flashlights in my shed, in my cars, in my store, and in almost every room in my house. I live in the subarctic and am often surrounded by darkness in winter. I also live off the beaten track where power outages are common and backup lights are an essential part of safety and comfort. These are very common 18650 (or triple AAA) powered LED lights. I have several different models from different brands including the very well established American brand GearLight. What I can tell you, since I have and use most of the major brands of this particular flashlight form factor, is that there really isn't much of a difference between the two. I wouldn't buy based on price alone, but these Hausbell devices are definitely 'up to par' in quality and definitely exceed expectations in terms of value. They were packaged well enough for "bulk packaging" - each was individually bubble wrapped and fully protected during transit. I was very pleased that they added lots of spare O-rings. These aren't the highest quality o-rings in the world, but it's fine if I have more than a dozen spares. All the lights in the set worked as expected and 'so far so good'. I believe if all you need is a flashlight, the GearLight S2000 (and possibly a handful of others) should be on your list. However, if you are looking for a balance between quantity and quality, this Hausbell watch is for you. I recommend investing in them and charging them with 18650 batteries. I can tell you that I have used the 18650 platform in subarctic winter conditions (-40 to -50°F/C) and this is the only battery platform that who I can trust to survive the whole subarctic winter without shelter. All AA/AAA platforms just don't have the strength to withstand one of the harshest environments on earth. This form factor is my everyday flashlight these days. It's not my "favorite" flashlight, but it definitely competes well in the price range. This purchase is a valuable piece of my kit that is scattered across multiple backups and different brands for good reasons. Finally, if you're still dealing with incandescent bulbs, you should definitely try them because you're missing out on a lot.
