Review on Browning Recon Force Advantage Game Camera Bundle with 32GB Memory Card and J-TECH Card Reader (20MP), BTC7A by Brandon Carr

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is the camera you want.

I own a recreational property and have been using security cameras for years, 5 or 6 at a time. I have bought many different brands and this is the best I have found for the money. Yes, it's two or three times more expensive than other security cameras, but it has the features you need most. Features: 1) Very good image quality. You can select 30 or 60 fps video. 60FPS is awesome.2) SOUND! This is the only camera with good sound that I have had. 3) Night shots are very clear. 4) JPG images and MP4 videos. Compatible with most PCs and tablets without special software. The data compression is very good. 32G SD cards store over 400 30-second videos at 60 frames per second. 5) Includes a small color screen for viewing images on the camera. The screen has good resolution.6) Reliable. I have had a similar Browning camera for 3 years and it still works as good as new. Features: 1) Uses standard size SD cards. If you've ever dropped a micro SD card on the grass, you know why this is important. 2) 8 batteries in a removable compartment. Change batteries without removing the camera from the tree.3) Long, durable strap and metal buckle. Standard compared to others with plastic closure. This allows you to attach the camera to the tree. 4) Intuitive user interface, in the camera viewer, when the camera is turned on, the recording will start immediately (with a delay of 30 seconds). 5) The timestamp contains the temperature in Fahrenheit. Complaints 1) Camera view is not wide angle. Your main target area should be 15 feet away. The field of view is only 55 degrees 2) The motion sensor is mostly straight. Good for game trails, mediocre for field types. 3) Realtree's appearance will become bluish over time. 4) Night IR Flash is not completely invisible. 5) Some cameras shoot with a photo or 2 and then record a video. This camera does not have this function. 6) File naming resets to "1" each time, and you cannot change the alpha prefix. Therefore, uploading multiple cameras can lead to file name conflicts. But I only had one camera that didn't do that. My opinion isn't so much related to THIS camera that I've only had for a few days. This is from an old Browning camera that I have owned for many years. This has always been my favorite camera. Camera dealers and models come and go but when I saw the same camera offered by Browning again I bought it and it appears to be identical in operation to my old camera but the video is better. I have used Bushnell, Moultrie, Stealth and No cameras. - Name of Chinese brands; some are as cheap as $50. Most of them broke down over time (<1 year). This Browning has always been the best. I bought this for about $150. If you can buy cheaper, do it.
