I have included some photos showing this set (black) versus another I got from Costco last year (blue). I'm an engineer so I decided to check how this set compares to one of the most popular snorkel sets in the US (available at Costco and Revain supermarkets https://amzn.to/3jnTxPI). I vacuumed the bottom of my pool (20 minutes) with my trusty pool cleaner POOL BLASTER Water Tech Catfish (https://amzn.to/2T4e4ON). I sucked half the pool with the Zeeporte kit and half with the Costco US Divers Snorkel Kit. I then asked my wife and 10 year old daughter to try Zeeporte and let me know what they thought. Here's what I found: 1) Fins: Very easy to adjust and the size range is larger than advertised: Zeeporte snorkel. The set is lighter and more flexible than the US Divers set I already had. I received a medium sized Zeeporte and was surprised that the fins fit well considering my feet are quite large (US 13.5 / EU 47), the fins fit well for my 10 year old with small feet (US 5 / EU 35). The fins feel more comfortable than the other kits I have but don't seem to be as durable so time will tell how long they last. 2) The mask: adapts very well to the face and creates a good vacuum so water does not penetrate. Visibility was amazing and it didn't fog up in the 10 minutes I used it. I am assuming the mask is treated with an anti-fog solution so I would recommend washing it with a mild soap before use. This isn't tempered glass though, so I'm curious to see how the set will age compared to my other set with glass. On the other hand, the absence of glass makes the mask much lighter. 3) Snorkel: This is the part I liked the most as the mouthpiece is very comfortable and there is almost no residual water at the bottom of the snorkel (the other 3 sets I had before always had to blow hard, return to the surface to remove the water that has collected in the hose before breathing again). The snorkel uses a float valve that closes very quickly when you go underwater, allowing very little water to enter the mouthpiece. The value for the money wasn't as good as the US scuba set I bought from Costco ($40 paid in stock). However, I just found that it's available at Revain for $80 https://amzn.to/3jnTxPI so the deal at Costco was really good. Both my wife and daughter love the Zeeporte set so I'm very happy with it. Update this review when I learn something new. Hope this review helps others! Sincerely, Javier PS: Share what you know, find out what you don't know
