Since I'm a bit bedridden, I needed a stable bedside table for my laptop. I looked through 2 other tables that were rated 5 stars. However, due to plastic joints, both tables broke. There are no plastic parts in this table, but it is still lightweight and durable at the same time. However, I would only use it on my knees while sitting in bed, chair or sofa. I wouldn't recommend it as a standing table. PS Yes, it arrived dusty, but that doesn't affect its use in any way.
