My son and I were visiting a friend and they had a set of these. The two guys quickly got down to making all sorts of things and I was amazed. The set was really cool and seemed to draw a lot of their creativity and imagination. I loved it, especially how it helped them think and decide how to build things and what they could do to make all the mechanisms work together. Together we built cars and beautiful things with moving parts. When we got home I ordered a set for my son because we had so much fun with him. When he arrived we did the same. We opened the box and started sorting through everything that could be done. But I found a problem. I wish there were more! The set I feel is a little behind. It only has one handle. There must be more. Because when we both do two things, one has to twist them by hand, and the other takes the handle. I myself do not mind, I will use my hand. But the point is. it limits what you can do. I would also like more connections. Details that go between the aisles. Because it would be nice to build something bigger. You almost have to order several sets at once. However, with the one set we have, we've created something fun. We bypass the lack of additional handles and the lack of fasteners. We really enjoyed them. I love watching my son build cars and trucks with wheels and other moving parts. He's having a lot of fun with them and I think they're great toys, especially for bright boys. My son is always building something and this was perfect for him.
