Review on 🔧 Upgraded Creality Printers with Hardened Components for Enhanced Performance by Alex Taylor

I made the mistake of assuming this hotend was already ready to install in my Ender 3. When I turned it on and tried to print I couldn't figure out why nothing was coming out of the nozzle. A closer look revealed a massive leak above the heater block that was completely consumed by the melted filament. I was able to clean most of the leaking filament, but it had penetrated the thermistor cavity to the point where it was impossible to clean enough to be able to remove the heating element or the thermistor itself. I don't want to waste time trying to figure out how to get the hot end back to working condition, so I ended up not being able to use this one. I'm still new to 3D printing and how to properly disassemble and install a hot end, so I just assumed it arrived properly assembled and ready to use. The leak could probably have been prevented if I had known what to look for to ensure the hotend is built correctly before installing it in my Ender 3.
