Love it on Notebook Accessories

I have an earlier version of the Caldigit USB-C Dock from September 2017. It still works well and meets the needs. I gifted it to my wife and bought this new one while looking forward to buying a second monitor. This docking station looks and feels good, the color now matches my MacBook Pro 15. Some new things: - Charges a full 85W when all possible ports are occupied. Finally I can connect everything with one cable. Hooray! - Docking station now turns off when not in use (auto disconnect feature) - Now there is only one audio port that goes in and out at the same time. Now I can plug in my iPhone's headphones and the mic works! - USB-c port moved to the front and I like it - now two DP ports (one DP, one HDMI on the old version) - this thing should now charge devices connected to the front USB-A even if the Computer is in sleep mode / switched off - cable The USB-c of the computer is now a little longer, 0.7m - there is now a card reader - it is possible to connect 2x4K monitors, but I will only test it with two 1920x1200 later. One thing that bothered me about the old version and it's still there. The blue light from the front is distracting. It's too light and I put a little sticker on it. UPDATE I was having trouble waking up only one monitor when the MBP is in clamshell mode. What helped was toggling "DP 1.2" in my monitor's OSD (DELL monitors).
