Review on MICHELIN Energy XM2+ 175/70 R13 82T summer by Mateusz Sowa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Purchased not too long ago in March of 2022. It came at a price that was a touch steep, approximately 4,000 r for each tire (the slower the dimension, the higher the price). I selected a product from the first line of brands, and as it turned out, there was not much variety available—somewhere in the neighborhood of four Malaysia started producing Toyo rubber, and consumers universally agree, based on the reports they've read, that this is an entirely unique variety of the product. They write that Nokian Green is not horrible, but it wears out a lot of the time. Bridstone and Yokohama are currently being heated up in the oven. In my dimension, Goodyear did not see much of anything. I don't want any Korean Kumho or Hankuk tires; as soon as I heard that, I sold all of my native Korean tires (even if it appears that reviews of Korean summer tires have gotten rather positive in recent years). Yes, and China is already responsible for a portion of the production of Korean rubber. The Michelin Energy XM2+ tires that I purchased were sized 195/60 R15 (2022). When compared to the Toyo CF2 (Japan), it is slightly more difficult. The Michelin Energy XM2+ is noticeably less noisy than its predecessor. Before then, there existed Bridgestone Turanza ER300 rubber (Japan), but it's generally worthless to compare it to anything else because Bridgestone is an extremely difficult and noisy rubber. Now what I didn't like . On one side of the tire there is an inscription that reads XM2, and on the other side of the same rubber there is an inscription that reads XM2 +. This shouldn't be the case, so there's no need to be ashamed about it. Despite the fact that XM2+ stickers can be seen everywhere. At first, I was under the impression that they were selling the older model of the XM2 at the same price as the newer XM2 +)).

Pros
  • New. The sidewall is not frail in any way, as it is rather thick and just somewhat elastic. This much can be said for sure: the sidewall is not weak. In principle, there should not be any cases of hernias. It should be able to walk for a considerable distance according to the reviews of the XM2's predecessor. Without a doubt; the tires produce a surprisingly low level of road noise (I drive a Hyundai Matrix, which has average sound insulation). Not how much the road and the motor were heard to become heard.
Cons
  • I wouldn't describe it as being especially soft. Toyo was more gentle. The word "elastic" is more appropriate to use when referring to XM2+, as is pointed out in some of the other reviews on this page. The pits swallow, but not in a straight line; they do so gently.
