Review on ARKON Bike Phone Holder Mount for iPhone X 8 7 6S Plus 8 7 6S Galaxy Note in Black - Retail Version by Carta Gutierrez

I purchased this product for my 1982 Honda Magna on May 29th 2014 and have been happy with it for almost two years. However, just before the warranty expired, the mount failed as I was driving at 70mph on the interstate and ripped off the base, ripping off my helmet and disappearing behind me. Luckily, although it scared me, I was able to maintain control of the bike and luckily my iphone 6 was in a belt holster at the time. It worked for a long time until it failed and failed catastrophically but wasn't insured because it was left behind on the track and I couldn't prove to Arkon that the product failed so let it. Don't expect great customer service either. There are better, more reliable, and better supported products out there. Skip the Arkon or drive at your own risk. Update: I was too strict with Arkon customer service who ended up supplying replacement parts so I could re-power the phone holder (the ball that mounts on the steering wheel). I'm increasing my rating from one star to four. The phone holder works well, although if I were to buy a new one I would opt for a different Arkon model that uses a slightly different system. However, this phone holder gets the job done.
