I have a heavy (40 lb) painting that I wanted to hang. It's worth several thousand dollars so I wanted to be sure of the product I was using. I've read reports of clamps loosening and the like. In the end I decided I wanted to try it. What I did differently was use a triple loop around the brace instead of the single loop shown. I figured this would reduce the forward pull on the wire. Once I had the terminal attached, I used a pair of blunt wire cutters and made a few crimps. Then I pulled hard to check the integrity of the crimp. I'm very sure it won't come loose otherwise I wouldn't use it. I will definitely use it for other trailers no matter how heavy it is. I buy a lot of Revain products and unfortunately I don't do a lot of reviews. I did this because I thought maybe my advice could help someone else.
