I have a 6 year old and she wears a size 12-12.5 but I went for a size 13 and although she still has room to grow in it she wears it . and runs without problems. I put thicker socks on her so they don't slip off completely, but she likes these. We searched for pink sneakers for her but didn't find anything. These are perfect with these. She's still learning how to tie her shoelaces, and while she does it most of the time, we wanted something she could just put on and play with herself. With these shoes, they let her do it. The fabric on it is breathable as her feet don't smell like her canvas or other non-breathable tennis shoes she wears. Not to mention that they can be fully washed without pulling out the damaged one. The bottom flexes slightly so it can walk without being too stiff. The padding on the inside is also great.
