Good choice for USB hub. For example, compact size and a power button next to each USB so you only have the option to turn on the USB ports you are using; In addition, each USB port lights up when the device is turned on, so you can immediately see if the hub port is powered on. Has a beautiful blue glow for each powered USB port when powered on. If blue lighting is an issue for your situation then this device is not for you as when the light is off the USB has no power. The power cord is a good length and not that short. It has a double-sided suction cup arranged in two rows, so you can put some moisture on the mini suction cups to fix the device on the table surface to keep the intended place. I have mine on the side, so connected USB cables shouldn't curve up vertically, but are allowed to flow out of the hub horizontally and parallel to the table surface to reduce stress on the cables. I don't think the suction cup works on a vertical surface, only on a horizontal table configuration (I know because I've tried it). I hope this will be useful for potential owners. I've been using it for about 2 months with no problems.
