I bought this to unclog a clog in our basement bathroom. I've tried different types of instruments and drains but to no avail. I think the clog was deeper in the pipe. This drainage snake was long enough to reach the blockage and ticked enough to churn it up. I was able to clean it by hand, but I also attached a drill to test it. It definitely turns the snake faster and I'm sure it will come in handy for getting through tougher blockages. The supplied gloves feel comfortable. I am changing my review and lowering my rating to 2 stars. I was working on a slightly clogged sink and I can't even get the tip of the snake down the drain. Maybe he's too fat? I adjusted the metal bracket and was able to use it to unlock the drain. It makes me wonder if I'll ever need it at all.
