I like almost all Blue Q bags in all sizes! This size of pencil case is not only great for pens but also for packing full size travel makeup brushes (or to carry in your purse if your purse is the right size) and I use it to hold mine wear clothes to and from work. . The flats I received for work come in their own beautiful rolled canvas storage with a fork, knife, spoon, chopsticks, reusable straw, straw cleaner and toothbrush! It's nice to have all of these things, but I usually only use a few for each meal, and I don't want to put dirty things back with clean ones, take them all home, wash everything (ever tried to dry spaghetti sauce) . from the new toothbrush, never an unused one?), as well as to do a pile of laundry to clean the canvas holder, which is not even the size of a plate. My dishes are usually larger than my food storage containers, so I can't just put my dirty dishes in them. So I got that. I put my dirty dishes in when I get home, I wash a few plates before bed anyway, so I wash my dirty dishes and bag too! Let them air dry while I sleep and take them with other foods for lunch on the commute the next day. The plastic zipper means I can even soak it in the sink (if for some crazy reason I have to). I don't know if it's dishwasher safe as I don't have one, but washing by hand is very easy, only takes a few seconds so I don't see why you should even bother. If you have kids who use the potty or are in school who still have the occasional accident (or even us women of a certain age who sneeze/cough/laugh too much) this is a discreet way to add an extra pair of dry ones butt to keep (and then wet) and goes through the washing machine just fine (just not in the dryer!) If you put it in the washing machine several times or throw it with heavy things, the transparent layer will peel off. From the picture it looks old and warns, so if you use it for such purposes I still recommend washing your hands regularly. I really love these bags and I think they are perfect for a variety of things! Even if you just look at it, should you get it, you won't be disappointed.
