This product is for storing food in my fridge after it needs to be defrosted. All I know is that the bags are recyclable and expensive enough not to waste money on grocery containers. And if the food in the bag gets moldy after it gets old, all I have to do is throw it away. I store solid food in bags anyway. Like pieces of fruit. The meat is thawed in the refrigerator. And if the food is thick enough and there isn't anything liquid in it, some leftovers will do too. Just secure with a tie and you're done!
