If I could put ZERO and I would but the rating option is only from 1-5. After contacting the Instant Pot manufacturer about a faulty Instant Pot pressure valve, I decided to write a review to share. I bought Instant Pot DUO Plus 3 Qtr. 9-in-1 final Thanksgiving gift for my parents. Unfortunately, the Instant Pot has not been subjected to sustained pressure in just over 6 months due to the inability of the pressure float valve to generate the required pressure when in seal mode. I cleaned and checked the o-ring and float valve; Float valve still not clicking for pressure. Finally I contacted Amazon customer service, they immediately told me that they had nothing to do with them, that I would have to contact the manufacturer myself if it was under warranty. When I contacted the manufacturer, the customer service rep asked me to answer a questionnaire, then do a heat test on him and email the results back. I spent my time doing all of this in my very busy schedule. Guess he wrote back saying everything was fine. There's nothing we can do for you right now, but if you want to buy another one we can compensate you with a $10 coupon. I think that's a complete insult and basically the instant pot quality sucks. NO product should only last 6 months and the manufacturer refuses to replace it under a product warranty. That alone is very unsettling and upsetting to me.
