After reading the reviews this thing has a 10% chance of failure, one of the most common problems is the sound not working. Personally though, oh maybe I nailed something on the audio capacitors and screwed it up, but no. In the end I realized that the only way to get sound was to plug in a USB port. It had nothing to do with me, it was just slowly dying, didn't start for a while and couldn't keep track of time even though it's a brand new board. Eventually it got to the point where it wouldn't start unless I jumped over the 24 pin connector, plugged it back in and tried again and for some reason it started. So ok maybe it's the PSU, I can probably barely handle 650w so I'm getting a massive 1300w so I never have to worry. It still doesn't work and when I unplug the drive it doesn't try to publish, but when I plug it back in the drive doesn't even have an OS, it just sometimes won't boot without it. So now I'm like, "Oh okay, my cheap little comb-wire extension cords are flimsy and cheap and they pinch the power, thank god it'll be fine when I get them out." Wait, that still doesn't work, why now . So I try to connect the 24-pin connector again, but nothing happens, my water pump connected directly to sata starts, but nothing lights up on the board. I go, well it really sucks but it didn't even last a year, things like this usually come with a 4 year guarantee so it's ok I'll contact the seller and see if they do it withdraw. There are no options, so I can't just do anything. The motherboard I got for my first computer 4 years ago still has a contact seller. So yes I just wanted a replacement but now after seeing so many fail I just want my money and work back.
