It was between 95 and 103 degrees in New England last week and the air conditioning couldn't keep up. Our cats were cranky and clearly uncomfortable the first part of the week, so I bought these cooling mats in hopes they would help. Of course, the cats gravitated toward them right away because they were curious about something new, not knowing what their intended purpose was, obviously, but now they want to be on them all of the time! We have five cats, and only bought two mats, as you can see, we may need to get more. It makes me happy that they can be a bit more comfortable when the temperatures are too much for them. The mats also have a really cool moisture monitor on them. I'm considering buying another for our dog's crate.
